On Jan. 9 at 11:41pm, New Bedford police received a report that a female was walking in the area of County and Adams Street when she was struck from what appeared to be a pellet from BB gun or pellet gun from the window of a passing vehicle.
She did not require medical attention. Police are investigating. Suspects could be charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
