New Bedford police officers responded to an armed robbery attempt at the New Bedford Inn & Suites 500 Hathaway Road around 4:30am on Sunday.
A man armed with a gun and mask reportedly pistol whipped a woman and attempted to rob the hotel. The woman was transported to the hospital. New Bedford police are actively investigating.
