Officer Alexander Polson previously worked as an officer in the city of New Bedford. Officer Polson received specialized training and served in the New Bedford Police Department Mental Health Unit. Officer Polson is a combat veteran, and served in Afghanistan with the United States Army. Officer Polson’s experience and his desire to serve will be a valuable addition to our department and our community.
