After three vehicle crash Lakeville Fire Department reminds commuters of the importance of “moving over”

“The Lakeville Fire Department responded to the highway just north of County Street for a three-vehicle crash on R. 140 South.

One person was transported by Lakeville Ambulance to Charlton Memorial.

As is almost always the case out on Rt 140, passing vehicles failed to move over away from the crash and slow down; placing first responders in danger.

Lakeville and State Police were forced to deploy flares to force passing vehicles into the lane away from the crash. Know the Law! Move over and slow down when approaching work and emergency incident zones on the highway.”
