On Sunday night at approximately 8:40pm the Royal 7 Food and Deli located at 606 Summer St. in New Bedford was robbed at gunpoint. Three males wearing black hooded sweatshirts and jeans entered the store and demanded money. One of the suspects struck the 26 yr. old male clerk with the butt of a handgun during the robbery in which cash was taken. The clerk refused any medical attention.
All suspects also had bandanas covering their faces and were last seen running north on Summer St. towards Adams St. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detectives at 508-991-6300 ext. 320
