The City has called and asked Mercy Meals and More to open up the Temporary Emergency Shelter at least one more time on Thursday, March 13th, beginning at 9 p.m. They need sponsors to over see the guests from 9 to 2 a.m. and 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. They can also use donations of fresh fruit, yogurt, pudding cups, soda, water, sandwich meats and cheese, mayonnaise, mustard and snack items.

Mercy Meals and More is located at 634 Purchase Street in downtown New Bedford. One change will be we will be staying in the sanctuary of the church ACROSS THE STREET instead of the Fellowship Building. They will not have access to a kitchen so nothing that needs to be cooked. Give Rev. Russ a call at 508-728-1489 if you are able to donate or help sponsor a shift.
