“Firefighters were alerted to a possible water emergency at 42 Lebaron Blvd., an apartment building for residents 55 years and older.

On arrival, firefighters entered the attic and located burst pipes. As they worked to isolate the leak, a call came in for a head-on crash at the intersection of Bedford and Main Streets.

A firefighter who was working in the attic space of the apartment building was injured when he fell from an attic scuttle to a stairwell landing. The firefighter was transported to Morton Hospital by Ambulance 2. He has since been treated and released from the hospital.

A recall was transmitted and additional crews were dispatched to the crash.

One person was transported from the crash by Ambulance 3 to St Lukes Hospital with injuries that did not appear to be serious.

Back at the LeBaron Apartments, workers have been repairing damage to the building.

Restoration efforts are continuing at the time of this post. Two residents have been provided suitable housing until their units can be made safe.”-Lakeville, MA Fire Department.
