Robber Gets Away With Money After Robbing 7-11 Convenience Store

Police are investigating a reported armed robbery early Thursday at the 7-11 at 1024 Cove Road.

The clerk told police that a man entered the store, which was empty at the time, wearing a hooded shirt and a partial ski mask, exposing just a portion of his eyes and nose. 

The male asked to purchase cigarettes and when the clerk turned back around, the suspect stated that he had a gun in his shirt pocket and demanded money from the register. 

The clerk handed him a small amount of money before leaving the store. No injuries were reported in the incident, which happened at about 2:37 a.m.
