New Bedford Solid Waste Transfer Station open extended hours for bulky items and yard waste through May 18.
Bulky item pickup and yard waste/brush collection have been suspended by ABC Disposal through May 18. Due to the pickup suspension, the New Bedford Solid Waste Transfer Station at 1103 Shawmut Avenue is open from 12 Noon to 5:00 p.m. every weekday, and regular hours on Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to accept bulky items, yard waste, and brush, through May 18.
