City of New Bedford welcomes new officers to the force

“The New Bedford Police Department would like the community to join us in welcoming its two newest officers.

Ofc. Jason Barbosa and Ofc. Robert Green graduated from the academy last Friday and were sworn in by the city clerk yesterday during a ceremony at the Fort Taber community center where they were joined by friends, family, the Chief and Deputy, as well as City Councilor Brad Markey and Reverend David Lima.
