New Bedford Police respond to alleged stabbing, shot-spotter activation in separate incidents

“On April 14th, at approximately 6:30 PM, patrol units responded to an adult stabbing victim at 896 Rockdale Ave.

A suspect entered the residence and assaulted the victim who sustained a non-life-threatening injury. The incident remains under investigation currently.

Later in the evening at approximately 7:30 PM, south-end units responded to a “ShotSpotter” activation in the area of Grinnell St./Pleasant St.

Upon arrival, spent shell casings were discovered and there was damage to a nearby residence. No injuries have been reported. The incident remains under investigation.”-New Bedford Police Department.
