“On June 5th, detectives assigned to the “Organized Crime Intelligence Bureau”, executed a search warrant at 10 Washington St. The target of the investigation was VICTOR MONTEIRO, 18. As a result of the search that followed, MONTEIRO was found to be in possession of a Glock 19, 9mm handgun, the serial numbers of which had been partially defaced, loaded with 13 rounds of ammunition. Detectives also located 169 grams of marijuana, packaging materials, and $115 in cash that was seized.
Detective Samuel Algarin-Mojica was the lead investigator on the case.
MONTEIRO was taken into custody and charged with possession of a loaded firearm and a high-capacity feeding device without a license, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of ammunition. MONTEIRO also had an active warrant for his arrest.
