New Bedford Police arrest two following Fentanyl investigation; net $2,002 in cash, crack cocaine, Oxycodone

Members of the New Bedford Police Organized Crime and Intelligence Bureau executed a search warrant Tuesday at 102 Parker St. Apt. 1, following an investigation into a Fentanyl distribution service.

As a result of the investigation, police located 31 grams of Fentanyl, along with a small amount of crack cocaine and Oxycodone, packaging materials and $2,002 in cash.

Vincent Perez, 26, of 102 Parker St., Apt. 1, New Bedford, was charged with trafficking in Fentanyl, possession of a class B substance (Oxycodin) with intent to distribute, possession of class B substance (cocaine) with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Amber Gruber, 25, of 102 Parker St., Apt. 1, New Bedford, was charged with trafficking in Fentanyl, possession of a class B substance (Oxycodin) with intent to distribute, possession of class B substance (cocaine) with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
The incident took place at 8:41 p.m.
