New Bedford man and woman arrested for armed robbery of Quicheleness Market

Uniform officers from the north end police station arrest two for an armed robbery Friday evening. Officers were dispatched to the Quicheleness Market located at 357 No. Front Street in regards to the robbery at approximately 7:00pm. The victim, a 45 year old New Bedford man stated that a male and female both masked entered the market and demanded money. A small amount of cash was taken. The male suspect who was armed with a knife also shoved the victim as well as a second victim (16 year old juvenile).

Officers located the suspects nearby and they were subsequently arrested. Officers also were able to recover the money that was taken. Both victims were not injured.

Arrested and charged were:

Christopher M. Admides, 29 of 397 North Front Street, New Bedford
1. Armed and masked robbery
2. 2 counts of assault and battery

Natasha B. Irizarry, 22 of 80 Earl Street, New Bedford
1. Armed robbery

Both are scheduled for arraignment on Monday.
