Retail Cannabis Community Conversation

Join us to discuss the potential impacts of a retail cannabis store in the North End near the corner of Church Street and Tarkiln Hill Road on Tuesday, April 18, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Hosted by consultants at John Snow, Inc., this event meets the municipal requirements for a retail cannabis license.

Where: Whaler Inn and Suites, 500 Hathaway Road, New Bedford

Tickets: Free

Public Meeting: Open to any New Bedford resident

All participants entered to win a $25 gift card, winners drawn at the end of the event.

  1. No thank you! Do not want in my neighborhood. Just look at how many people fled to Florida when cannibals was not legal in Massachusetts. We don’t need any more “traffic” in New Bedford. I don’t have opinion as to making cannibas legal for personal use, I don’t care either way. If it were for medical use only facility and would be run as a medical facility, fine. What are we doing to New Bedford. It should be placed away from high traffic areas. My question is, is drug testing going to be required for job performance? I know if it’s not obtained here in New Bedford, people will get it elsewhere. Well, ELSEWHERE is my vote.
