New Bedford cold weather overflow shelter open tonight, March 02

Due to the expected combined weather conditions for this evening, we decided to activate the overflow at 71 Division Street tonight. Projections are excessive rain and flooding, coupled with at least 30 mile wind gusts and a “feel like” temp as low as 26 degrees sporadically through the evening into the early morning.
