Massachusetts State Police share scenes from vigil for Winthrop victims

“We have no tolerance for hate or violence in our communities.

Much like the personal families of the two victims of the Winthrop shootings, and like the town itself, our own Massachusetts State Police family was impacted by the senseless and violent events of Saturday, June 26. We will forever keep retired Trooper David Green and retired US Air Force Staff Sergeant Ramona Cooper, and their loved ones, in our hearts and our prayers.

Their losses, like the losses of all the victims of violent crime for whom we strive to speak, serve only to harden our resolve in our daily work to fight crime and violence, including acts motivated by hate and bias.”-Colonel Mason.
