Massachusetts opposum babies found clinging to deceased mother

image_pdfimage_print

“It has only been two days since I found them on the side of the road. They were still clinging to their deceased mother. She had been hit by a car and they remained helpless without her.

Despite their sad story, all six babies are doing well. They have been nice and comfy in an incubator and have a life size opossum stuffy to cling to. It’s not mom, but it will do. I bet mom would be so happy to know her babies are safe and being taken care of.

We have some really exciting news!We have six incredible companies willing to match donations. For tomorrow only (7/26) $6000 in donations will be MATCHED! These donations will go towards to building of our wildlife clinic.

A HUGE thank you to:

Michelle Pekrol from Star Gift Alliance

Stacey & Ralph Sevinor from Wayne Alarm Systems

Mike Oakes from Fitness Together Concord

This is just three of six that have offered to match donations!!! The remaining three will be named in tomorrow’s post.

We are so grateful these wonderful companies are willing to help us to help little ones like these baby opossums.”-Newhouse Wildlife Rescue.
