Man crashes car into stone wall in New Bedford after police chase

Around 9pm last night New Bedford Gang Units tried stopping Toyota Corolla for motor vehicle violation around Sawyer and Jean St. The driver took off heading west and crashed the vehicle into the stone wall on Shawmut Ave and Sutton Street. The male driver got away. The car was taken without permission from an acquaintance.
