Lakeville Fire Department responds to three calls in half an hour window

“Ambulance 3 and Squad 3 responded to a Lakeville residence for a medical emergency at approximately 5:15 pm Wednesday.

Ten minutes later and while Ambulance 3 was committed to a transport to the hospital, a call came in for a motor vehicle crash.

A recall of off duty and on-call firefighters was transmitted. Ambulance 2 and Engine 1 were staffed and responded to the scene. Car 1 and Car 2 also responded to the crash.

The accident occurred on Mill Street, near Howland Road. The two occupants required assistance exiting vehicle but were not injured.

While on scene of the wreck, a 3rd call came in for a medical emergency at the Urgent Care. An ambulance was dispatched mutual aid from Middleborough to handle that call.”-Lakeville Fire Department.
