Believe it or not, summer is right around the corner, which means it is time to think about Camp!

Once again, the Ocean Explorium will host two week-long summer camps, one in July and one in August. The first week, July 14 – 18, is themed “Corals, Crustaceans and Clown Fish” while the second week, August 4 – 8, is themed “Stingrays and Sharks of the World”.

Camps are open to children aged 6 – 8 (Junior campers) and 9 – 14 (Senior campers). Full-day camp is from 9 am until 4 pm, Monday through Thursday (Friday is Beach day, from 9 until 1). Half-day camp is an option, from 9 am until 12:30 pm, Monday through Thursday (Friday is still Beach day, from 9 until 1). A Member Discount is available, as is an ‘Early-Bird Special’ for registrations received and paid in full before May 15, 2014.

Ocean Explorium campers in the past had a wonderful time, which one parent described as “Learning, cleverly disguised as fun”. Parents who are looking for engaging, immersive experiences for their children are welcome to visit the website, oceanexplorium.org, or call the office, 508.994.5400, for more information or to register.

  1. Hi I’m interested in having my two children Devin 10 & Faith 11 participate in the second camp week. Sounds like fun and just have a few questions; What types of activities would take place for that camp? What would be their tuition?

    Thank you,
    Corie Trezon
