Dartmouth Police Department reminds public that even during these time we shouldn’t be “litterbugs and slobs!”

The following was posted on the Dartmouth Police Department’s Facebook Page:

“Common sense isn’t so common!

Though we understand and appreciate that everyone wants to be extra careful these days, last time I checked, no one has authorized us all to suddenly become litterbugs and slobs!

While walking through one parking lot this evening, I saw several pairs of discarded rubber gloves strewn all over the place, thus prompting me to send out this reminder that someone else will have to clean up your mess, therefore placing themselves in harm’s way.

Please people, if you are going to use personal protective equipment, help us further protect one another, as well as Mother Earth, by having the decency to properly discard it once you are done with it.
