Dartmouth Police Chief Levesque releases statement on challenges and perspective during Thanksgiving

“Dear friends,

While I firmly understand that this year has presented unparalleled challenges across the board for us all, it has also afforded us the unique opportunity to pause for a moment, and reflect upon the importance of some of the things that we once took for granted.

Though Thanksgiving will most likely be celebrated a bit differently this year, please make every attempt to revel in the fact that this too shall pass, and that we will once again be able to exchange pleasantries and break bread with one another at the same table.

As this holiday season may be a bit more emotionally trying for some, I ask that you reach out to family members and friends who cannot physically be with you this year, and let them know just how important they are to you.

On behalf of the members of the Dartmouth Police Department, I wish you all a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

Warm Regards,
Brain P. Levesque
Chief of Police”
