UPDATE: AMBER Alert suspect TIFFANY CHERRY was located a short time ago by Boston Police and taken into custody. Her infant son is receiving emergency medical treatment at a Boston hospital. The Massachusetts State Police are deactivating the AMBER Alert.

The Massachusetts State Police have activated an AMBER Alert for a woman who fled Pennsylvania Friday afternoon with her seriously ill infant son, allegedly ignoring directions to get the boy emergency medical care. The suspect may be in Massachusetts.

The mother is identified as TIFFANY CHERRY, a black female, age 36. She is believed to be approximately 5′ 5″ tall with a large build. TIFFANY CHERRY may be driving a gray 2004 Dodge Intrepid with New Hampshire license plate # 3613764. Residents throughout the state are urged to be vigilant for the suspect, victim, and their vehicle.

TIFFANY CHERRY fled Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, at approximately 4:30 p.m. Friday after she was instructed by medical personnel to take QUAVAI to the hospital immediately because the boy was suffering from severe dehydration.
