13-year old stabbed in the back of the head on Parker Street

A 13-year old was stabbed in the back of the head after being jumped by three people on Parker Street in New Bedford at 3:15pm on Wednesday.

The victim sustained a small laceration to back of his head and refused to give officers any statement. The victim states he never saw a knife or who assaulted him. Police feel he is being uncooperative.

New Bedford police officers are following up to see if any surveillance cameras were in the area.
