Dartmouth Fire Department fights “heavy fire load” at 2:00am camper fire

The Dartmouth Fire Department was hard at work at 2am from a “heavy fire load” fire in a 20+ foot camper on Cherry Street. Dartmouth Fire District 1 posted this statement in regards to the situation,

“At approximately 02:00am this morning E2, Tower1 and E1 were dispatched to a reported working trailer fire on Cherry St. Upon arrival crews were met with a heavy fire load throughout a 20+ft camper. A quick knock down was made by first arriving companied while a second line went into service to protect an additional exposed trailer. A credit to our Firefighters that no additional damage was done to any exposures.”
