On Earth Day, Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 6:00PM, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Dartmouth, will hold an outdoor “Earth Day Prayer Service” on Rex Field, 351 Elm Street. Earth Day is an opportunity to reflect and raise consciousness about our call to care for all God’s creation and our “island home.” The Episcopal Church is committed to celebrating the earth and renewing the commitment to building a safer, healthier and cleaner world for all of us. There will be special prayers as well geared toward children and teens. Everyone in the community is welcome to attend. In the event of rain, the service will be held in the church.
