Today, the State Police barracks in Dartmouth received numerous calls from people who reported that they were called by someone claiming to be the police. The Caller ID on the recipient’s phone was listed as 508-993-8373, which is the number for the MSP Dartmouth Barracks.

If you receive a similar call, be advised that these are believed to be hoax calls from someone spoofing the barracks phone number.
