New Bedford Signs Encourage Safe Driving Around School Zones

In an effort to encourage motorists to use caution and drive with care both in and around school zones, the City of New Bedford is posting signs encouraging drivers to “Drive Like Your Kids Live Here.”

The signs are being posted near schools throughout the city to remind drivers to exercise safe driving as the nearly 12,750 students enrolled in the New Bedford Public Schools District make their way to and from school each day.
