New Bedford Police arrest 50-year old man for allegedly selling cocaine out of his apartment

“On Friday, February 11, New Bedford Police detectives arrested CLEVELAND COOPER, 50, of 199 Belleville Avenue #2, for distributing cocaine out of his residence.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for his home and found a clear bag containing cocaine weighing .4 grams, a clear plastic bag of cocaine weighing 20.7 grams, 47 suboxone film strips, cut corner bags, packaging materials, 3 digital scales, and $736.

Cooper was charged with two counts of possession to distribute a class B drug and trafficking in 18 grams or more of cocaine. He was also found guilty on November 21, 2006 for possession to distribute a class B substance.” -New Bedford Police Department.
