Massachusetts State Police participate in hockey game to benefit family of fallen trooper Tamar Bucci

“On Saturday Colonel Christopher Mason, Superintendent of the Massachusetts State Police, joined our honor guard and the Massachusetts State Police Hockey Team at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough for a charity hockey game to benefit the family of fallen Trooper Tamar Bucci, who were present for the game and met with the players at its conclusion.

The New York City Police Department Hockey Team made the trek up to Massachusetts to make this event possible. Colonel Mason was present to perform the ceremonial puck drop.

This event was a great show of sportsmanship, professionalism, and talent… all for a great cause.

Special thanks to the Hero’s Cup Foundation for a generous donation. Photo credit to the State Police Association of Massachusetts for contributing several photos from the event.” -Massachusetts State Police.
