Man with five outstanding warrants arrested while breaking into Dartmouth home

On Sunday, April 16, 2017 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Dartmouth Police were dispatched to #121 Rogers Street for a reported break in progress.

While checking the first floor apartment of the multi-family residence, Officer Brian PARENT and K-9 Officer Jared WHITE found an open window. As they continued their search of the apartment, the officers located a male suspect hiding in a bedroom closet and placed him under arrest.

The suspect was subsequently identified as: Cristhian Xaiver ESCOBAR, age 32, of 197B North Street, New Bedford.

In addition to being charged with breaking and entering and trespassing, ESCOBAR also had five (5) outstanding arrest warrants.
