Exodus of police officers continues as the New Bedford Police Department loses another officer

“The New Bedford Police Department regrets to announce the departure of another officer. Officer Davidson Barthelmy has moved on from the New Bedford Police Department.

Officer Barthelmy graduated from the Randolph Police Academy in February of 2023. Officer Barthelmy was also a graduate and student athlete at the University of Rhode Island and held a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.

The New Bedford Police Union wishes Officer Barthelmy the best in his future endeavors and thanks him for his service to the City of New Bedford.”-New Bedford Police Union.
