ABC Disposal garbage truck in New Bedford backs into vehicle with occupant

“This morning on Lawrence St in North End, my dad was backed into by a garbage truck.

A foot further and my dad’s legs would have been crushed. The truck driver said, ‘The alarm to signal if something is behind me did not signal.’ Even after the truck was already on top of my dad, the driver still continued to back up.

Very scary thing to wake up to but I’m happy my dad is okay.”-Cassie Menard.
