New Bedford emergency overflow shelter open Friday

The overflow will be opened this evening due to the expected temperature drop. Roughly around 10pm the temperature will be at 31 degrees, coupled with a wind chill that will make it feel like 22 degrees. So we will open tonight. Guests can arrive at 6pm and the cut off 9pm.
