New Bedford Police Detectives are actively investigating a shooting that occurred Monday at 2:30 PM at South First and Blackmer Street.
A 18-year old New Bedford man was shot and was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with life threatening injuries. This investigation remains extremely active. Detectives have three people of interest detained.
