Last night at approximately 9:45pm members of the Organized Crime intelligence Bureau executed a search warrant at 10 Acushnet Ave. apartment 3. This was the result of an investigation that was conducted by Detective Kevin Barbosa into drug dealing that was taking place out of the home.
As a result of the search, 17 grams of crack cocaine, 16 grams of heroin, and a .38 caliber Smith and Wesson revolver was seized. The revolver was found in a closet and was loaded with 5 rounds of ammunition. The drugs have a street value of approximately $2,000. The remaining drugs were found throughout the apartment some of which were discarded out a window as detectives made entry.
A total of 9 people were arrested in the home.

Hubert Santos age 21 of New Bedford
Luis Reyes age 28 of Roxbury, Ma
Rachel Coe age 36 of New Bedford
The following are facing various drug and conspiracy charges;
Davidson Martins age 18 of New Bedford
Nelson DeJesus-Hernandes age 38 of New Bedford
Louise Sheena Andrade age 33 of New Bedford
Eduardo Collazo age 45 of New Bedford
Steven Morales age 40 of New Bedford
All parties will be arraigned this morning in New Bedford district court.
