Officer Azevedo was hired by the New Bedford Police Department in February 2022. Officer Azevedo was assigned to the Uniform Patrol Division until his departure.
Officer Azevedo held a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Westfield State University.
Officer Azevedo is moving on to the Massachusetts State Police Academy. The New Bedford Police Union wishes Officer Azevedo the best with his new agency.”-New Bedford Police Union.
