From the New Bedford Fire Department:

“Earlier today, our crews battled a stubborn fire in a six-unit, two story dwelling on Amanda Avenue. This structure was made of lightweight construction with solar panels on the roof. Roof ventilation was conducted with a simultaneous interior attack upon arrival. A second alarm was called and crews were able to cut off the fire before it extended into the three southern units. Great job to all!”
