New Bedford man facing four counts of assault and battery on a police officer

On Tuesday morning at 1:26 am, New Bedford police officers responded to a call of an intoxicated man at Lebeau’s Tavern at 65 Tarkiln Hill Road. When officers arrived, they report attempting to arrest a man for disorderly conduct when he allegedly became unruly and resisted arrest at the location and during booking.

36-year old Joshua Turcotte of New Bedford is facing charges of disorderly conduct, four counts of assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest.
