New Bedford Public Schools and the NBPD make statement about purported threat made toward Normandin Middle School

New Bedford Public Schools and the New Bedford Police Department are investigating recent social media chatter regarding a purported threat made toward Normandin Middle School.

NBPD has reported that there is “no credible threat” and “no veracity” to the claim. New Bedford Public Schools takes student safety very seriously and will continue to partner with police and other agencies.
