As reported on Tuesday, the Dunkin’ (formerly and better known as Dunkin’ Donuts) at 113 Conway Street just off Route 18 in New Bedford is closing – planning to open at a different spot in New Bedford in the future.

Carlos Mota, the owner of several Honey Dews already operating in New Bedford confirmed that he will be opening a new Honey Dew at the 113 Conway Street location on August 1st. He also reported that he will be opening another new Honey Dew at 1014 Kempton Street on September 2nd. The location is currently operated by Dunkin’.

Dunkin’ opened a new location in the north end New Bedford Business park at 207 Theodore Rice Blvd in January of this year and looks to be moving a few locations, not reducing their New Bedford footprint.

  1. I’m so happy to hear the Carlos is opening new Honey dew locations in New Bedford. The coffee and food items are always great and is offered in greater quantities. The atmosphere is always family oriented and you always feel welcomed as family as soon as you walk in or are greeted at drive-thru. Look forward to visiting your new locations.
