Young men allegedly steal bicycle from New Bedford’s Yesteryear Cyclery; reward offered

“Once again it is with heavy heart and sadness that I tell you my store was visited by some misguided youth. On Thursday of this past week, 2 young men were acting suspiciously in our main store and left, headed over to our used bike department, entered and stole a very nice bicycle that was for sale.

It makes me so sad that young boys like this have been brought up in an atmosphere where stealing is okay. How will they end up in later years?

The saddest part is that my entire used bike department is dedicated to Gifts to Give. A great portion of every bike sold is directly donated to this local nonprofit organization which is solely for the benefit of local homeless and needy families yet these young men choose to turn a blind eye to what is right or wrong.

Frankly I blame the parents for losing control of their kids today. It’s time to bring back old fashioned morals because if you’re reading this and agreeing with me, you were brought up by parents who knew better and made you into what you are today.”-Kim Camara.
