“The New Bedford Police Outreach Team hosted an event with the Corpus Christi Police Department and the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday.
Deputy Chief Adelino Sousa kicked off the event by welcoming the group to the city, followed by Sgt. Samuel Ortega discussing their Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion Program (LEAD) and their Post Overdose Outreach teams. After the discussion, they were all taken around the city to see how our officers and team engage with the community!
